HMN-Academy was founded with one mission: to elevate the private service profession through education, professional development, and industry-leading certification.

Our journey began long before the Academy was established. After spending more than a decade working within private households and luxury residences—as a nanny, house manager, estate manager, and later as the founder of a successful domestic staffing agency—we witnessed firsthand the growing need for structured professional education in private service.

Time and again, exceptional candidates were overlooked not because they lacked dedication or potential, but because there was no consistent educational standard to demonstrate their knowledge and commitment. Families sought professionals who could confidently manage complex households, lead domestic teams, oversee estate operations, and represent their homes with discretion and excellence. Yet there were few opportunities for professionals to acquire formal, industry-specific training.

HMN-Academy was created to bridge that gap.
