About
Advanced Estate & Asset Management II is the second level of HMN-Academy’s Estate & Asset Management curriculum, designed for House Managers and Estate Managers seeking to broaden their professional knowledge and strengthen their expertise at an advanced level. The course focuses on the complex responsibilities associated with sophisticated private estates and multi-residence portfolios, including estate-wide operating standards, residence readiness, seasonal operations, portfolio oversight, property condition monitoring, and centralized estate records. Students develop advanced knowledge of asset lifecycle and replacement planning, preventive maintenance, critical building systems, property risk and loss prevention, incident recovery, and major renovation and construction administration. The curriculum also explores the stewardship of high-value and specialty assets, including jewelry, watches, wine, vehicles, antiques, couture, rare books, memorabilia, and recreational assets, with emphasis on documentation, preservation, specialized care, movement, chain of custody, and accountability. Estate governance, operational continuity, management transitions, information architecture, institutional knowledge, and long-term strategic planning further prepare managers to oversee increasingly complex estate operations. Students will strengthen their ability to coordinate professional teams and specialty vendors, maintain organized estate documentation, identify developing operational risks, support major property projects, and establish systems that promote consistency across residences. Practical assignments, case studies, and knowledge checks reinforce the application of advanced estate-management principles to realistic private-service environments.
