About
This Level I certification introduces managers to the coordination of childcare, education, family schedules, developmental activities, and family-support services within high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth private households. Students explore educational planning, including private schools, homeschooling, tutoring, standardized test preparation, and school admissions. The course also examines the coordination of extracurricular activities, specialized instructors, transportation, scheduling, and progress tracking while maintaining a balanced routine for children. Students learn the manager’s role in coordinating family therapy, counseling, and wellness resources while maintaining appropriate confidentiality and professional boundaries. Childcare staffing covers the recruitment, vetting, onboarding, scheduling, and management of nannies and governesses, along with aligning household staff with established family policies and parenting preferences. The course also addresses summer camps and enrichment programs, teen mentorship, career development, college preparation, internships, leadership skills, and age-appropriate financial literacy. Additional study focuses on supporting families raising children within environments of significant wealth, including privacy, public exposure, family values, structured routines, consistent household rules, and coordination across caregivers. Students also explore screen-time management, parental controls, digital habits, and technology-free family activities. Upon successful completion of the course requirements, students will receive the House & Estate: Family & Childcare Management I Certification.
