About
This Level I certification introduces managers to the specialized property and asset responsibilities found within private estates and ultra-high-net-worth households. Students develop an understanding of how significant properties, valuable collections, acquisitions, technology, and international estate interests are professionally coordinated and administered. The course explores luxury real estate acquisition and management, including due diligence, market research, confidential transactions, and coordination with brokers, attorneys, and financial professionals. Students examine asset-tracking systems and technology used to organize and monitor valuable household property across residences. Estate liquidation and downsizing covers asset cataloging, valuations, auctions, charitable donations, estate sales, relocation, storage, and heirloom distribution. Students also examine private islands and remote properties, including supply chains, staffing, security, utilities, infrastructure, and local coordination. Additional study focuses on fine-art collection management, insurance and appraisals, preservation, exhibition loans, conservation, luxury auction procurement, bidding strategies, and secure post-purchase logistics. The course also introduces international considerations affecting UHNW households, including cross-border estate matters, privacy and security, government relations, succession considerations, and coordination with qualified legal, tax, and financial professionals.
